Position: UX Content Production Engineer
Location: Dallas TX US
Ziosk places 7″ Android tablets on each and every table in the restaurant that enables guests to order food & drinks, play games, and ‘pay on demand’. We are seeking a talented UX Content Production Engineer who will share our passion for market differentiation and excellence. The UX Content Production Engineer will be focused on developing UI’s for Ziosk’s restaurant brand partners and will support all other content areas such as menus and surveys.
Working close with Creative Team, Marketing Team, Project Managers, QA, Client Managers
Track and follow task for all duties (Layout, Menu, Survey) in Jira
Maintaining and Developing all brand for Surveys using SMS
Develop and maintain innovative, engaging guest facing experiences for various customers at Ziosk
Help create Marketing campaigns and program the underlying data to match campaign requirements
Collaborate closely with engineers to understand Ziosk proprietary tools to implement UX solutions on Ziosk devices
Review customer requirements and program the User Experiences to meet wireframes
Manage dynamic content on Ziosk with content Management systems
Program customer specific configuration and skinning of assets to render on Ziosk
Work Closely with Marketing creative team for timely delivery of assets to meet customer delivery deadlines
Document UX change details and communicate to the Quality assurance team for validation and approval
Collaborate with Content Team to grow documented knowledge base and help define and execute best practices
Maintain projects on SVN in clean and sustainable format
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.
Experience with Adobe Photoshop or other photo editing software
Experience in content management for web or mobile
Strong understanding of Image editing, flash, video content, CSS, XML and JSON
POS and Retail systems knowledge will be a plus
Operates with considerable latitude. Independently performs assignments with instruction limited to results expected.
Testing background experience a plus
Experience with JIRA and Atlassian tools is preferred
Deep understanding and experience with Agile SCRUM methodologies and operations.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment under deadlines in a changing environment
Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously
Proven problem solving skills and analytical ability
Prior experience working in a team environment
Strong attention to detail in all facets of work
