Position: Video Audio Engineer

Provides superior service to customers. Specifies, installs, evaluates and operate both portable and installed equipment and video, audio and projection systems.
Responsibilities:
Designs, specifies, assembles, installs, evaluates, operates and repairs audiovisual systems and equipment.
Designs and implements staging and other audio visual set ups for off-campus locations of CME, Patient Education and other CCF events locally, regionally and nationally.
Operates teleconferencing and telemedicine equipment and systems.
Assists ITD in installations and repair.
Creates and maintains appropriate databases and documentation of equipment, systems and remote set-ups.
Other duties as assigned.
Education:
Associate’s Degree in Audio/Visual Production or Electronic Technology or a related field.
Certifications:
CTS certification preferred.
Complexity of Work:
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Work Experience:
Minimum three years experience in servicing audio-visual systems, installing/operating/repairing.
Five years experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
Preferred experience with LCD/DLP/CRT projection systems, video/audio systems controls and switchers.
Physical Requirements:
Visual and aural acuity, manual dexterity and strength sufficient to operate, repair and transport audio-visual equipment.
Personal Protective Equipment:
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
