Video Content Developer

Yupana is looking for an experienced content developer to join our Software Development Group. As content developer, you will be writing scripts and recording/editing videos for our customer facing technical method of procedure documents. We are specifically looking for someone with experience in creating product how-to videos. You must be an experienced professional with relevant experience and a clear track record of producing high-quality, usable content. You must be self-starting, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, unstructured environment. Yupana delivers an effective, complex, and customizable tool hosted in the cloud. The challenge for the content developer is to take highly technical information and provide instructional material that is clear and easy to use.

Responsibilities

• Create content for video and technical documentation by working with software developers and support engineers to obtain necessary information.
• Work with subject matter experts and capture method of procedure for technical field work. Examples might be like:
  • How to change an SFP unit.
  • How to fix a fiber cable problem.
  • How to add a dummy load to a coax line.
  • How to add and configure a hardware component on the field.
• Work on video production to achieve quality video, animation, and screen demos.
• Provide suggestions for visual elements.
• Review rough-cut videos and provide feedback.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven excellence in technical writing for software.
• Advanced-level writing skills.
• Experience creating scripts for product demonstration and concept videos is an asset.
• Ability to organize information well and explain it clearly.
• Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Strong personal commitment to quality and customer service.
• Ability to understand and communicate complex technical systems.
• Proven ability to maintain a professional demeanor when handling complex user issues.
• Free to travel internationally
