Fast-paced, fun and reputable 40 year old North Miami Video Equipment Rental and Production Support Firm seeks savvy experienced Video Equipment Rental Technician who has knowledge of the current equipment in use for various productions. This person must have excellent memory for parts, pieces, and model numbers. Looking for a Professional Video Camera Specialist!

The Video Rental Technician position requires a person with intimate knowledge of the latest most popular professional HD cameras and current video gear including all current professional cameras, plasma displays, video machines, lighting instruments, Camera Support Systems and associated audio and grip gear. You must love cameras and equipment for this position!

We have virtually all of the latest and greatest video cameras, audio and video recorders (digital and tape) and an extremely wide assortment of grip, lighting, support, infrared and specialized underwater gear and a lot more.

Note that this is not a training position, rather you must have had previous experience working with or around video cameras and as well as the accessories involved in production.

Required is:

• Knowledge about Video Production, Camera and lighting;

• Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of video production equipment;

• Knowledge of the general techniques required in video production;

• Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced

environment;

• The ability to work as a manager with minimal supervision in fast-paced environment.

• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team;

• Superb verbal and written communication skills;

• An eye for details;

• Computer skills;

• EXCELLENT customer service and customer relations skills.

Duties include preparing unique packages for each client based on their needs and requirements, checking the cameras and all other items in preparation for rental. When requested, providing information and assisting clients on rental pickup, verifying that all items will work together and that all parts and pieces are in good working condition, is also a requirement. Upon rental return all items must be carefully checked back in and verified to be the same condition as when they left. Detailed inspection of all equipment is mandatory and a huge part of this job.

Open are full and part-time permanent positions in the video rental department. Hours can be flexible because we are open from 8 AM – 8 PM and some hours on Saturday and Sunday as well.

We have a non-smoking office.

Full or part time and flex hours available.

Bilingual English/Spanish a big plus but not required.
