Position: Design Assistant
Company: Ouellette and Company
Location: Dallas TX US
Design firm, Ouellette & Company, is looking for a part-time design assistant to aid in:
- Preparing plans and elevations using AutoCAD
- Obtaining field measurements
- Sourcing of new furniture/fabrics/accessories
- Assembling client presentations
- Creating conceptual floor plans and schematic designs
- Placing and tracking orders
- Meeting with vendors
- Support the team in the completion and execution of each design stage deliverable
Qualifications include:
- Proficiency in AutoCad
- Proficiency in Sketch-Up
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
- Field Measurements: hand draw and provide accurate architectural drawings of the site
- Experience with space planning and develop preliminary floor plans, elevations and sections
- Ability to convert sketches into AutoCad drawings
- Ability to Travel 25-30% of the time
Job Types: Part-time, Internship
Salary: $15.00 to $20.00 /hour
