Video Producer / Motion Graphics Designer

Primary Duties / Responsibilities

• Highly creative and skilled in the crafts of storytelling, shooting, editing and animation.
• Transports, sets up, and operates various production equipment including cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting, for location and studio production.
• Setting up and breaking down film sets and adjusting lighting and audio based on needs.
• Work closely with the video manager to help create stellar animated and live action videos.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing team and key stakeholders in various parts of the organization to develop video assets.
• Able to work independently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to contribute ideas and constructive criticism.
• Willing to learn new technology to expand your knowledge on all facets of video/animation production.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

• Ability to accept direction and collaborate closely with all members of the creative team.
• Ability to interpret a creative brief into on-brand design solutions
• Knowledge of design principles, composition, and brand identity systems and guidelines.
• In-depth knowledge of typography, layout, composition and color theory.
• Advanced knowledge of graphics used across multiple media and platforms.
• Advanced ability to work directly with content providers to develop and refine content for graphics in presentations.
• A team player who thrives in a collaborative setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be self-disciplined, have strong organizational skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Must remain up to date with technology developments, design software, and industry trends.

Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, and Experience)

• Bachelor’s degree in film, motion graphics, design, art or related field, and 3+ years of work experience with an in-house creative team or agency/design studio environment.
• A solid portfolio/reel with samples demonstrating relevant work or projects.

Functional / Technical Requirements

• Adept at project and relationship management.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Illustrator. Photoshop, Maya or Blender a plus.
