Video Editor (Freelance)

Definite Films is looking for video editors for freelance and possibly full-time employment in our New York Office. We specialize in creating content for beauty, fashion, and luxury clients. An interest in those industries is a major plus as our editors are expected to understand beauty products and fashion and luxury aesthetics in order to clearly communicate with the audience.

We’re experienced editors with that are flexible to the unique intricacies of our post-production process. We’re looking for editors that are interested in learning and developing themselves – those hungry to expand their skill set.

Potential applicants should be proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro with experience editing commercial, tutorial, and social media content. Experience in beauty, fashion, and luxury is nice, not required, but an interest in those subjects is required. Further experience in Adobe Creative Suite including: Audition, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator are plusses.
