ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define and own NPI process and procedures.
- Specify new product assembly and test procedure and specifications
- Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and workflows to identify areas that could benefit from changes and improvements
- Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning production line work flow, procedures and the related documentations.
- Develop standardized DFM criteria across all product lines.
- Create processes and procedures to help meet line goals of product yield, quality and performance
- Coordinate other engineering teams for MFG line support activities and production planning, including station/equipment definition, upgrading, and management of Assemble tools design and test fixture development
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and cross-departmental meetings to ensure collaborating and cohesion.
- Review engineering changes and take appropriate measures to ensure all product documentation for the affected operations (methods, BOM’s, test procedures, etc.) are updated to support the change prior to release to production
- Establish an effective and efficient work sequence
