– Assist with teases, features, on-site production, and 24/7 series.
– Assist in all aspects of research, logging, digitizing, and edits.
– Create pieces and stringouts on AVID media composer and AVID assist.
– Shoot 2nd camera angles on location
– Perform thorough, quality footage and story research.
– Produce accurate and useful media logs.
– Perform bin and media management.
– Organize tapes, research, edits, and travel logistics.
– Thoroughly and effectively complete production assignments on schedule and within budget.
– Maintain the HBO Sports tape library.
– A minimum of two (2) years of experience in pre and post-production, preferred.
– Working knowledge of AVID, AVID media composer, and AVID assist.
– Working knowledge of DSLR’s and other small format cameras
– Understanding tapeless media workflow in the field, and in the office
– Demonstrated experience and expertise in preparation for live shows and edits.
– Prior experience pitching quality story ideas to producers.
– Ability to handle many projects simultaneously, keeping up in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
– Must be responsible and organized with strong interpersonal skills.
– Able to juggle complex schedules with a demonstrated eagerness to learn.
– Must be a sports enthusiast.
– Bachelor’s degree preferred.
