This senior professional provides expert-level maintenance, installation and repair of broadcast and information technology equipment in all technical areas of a 24x7x365 news and entertainment production environment, in addition to acting as a lead, mentor, and/or supervisor to other engineers. Senior Engineers have demonstrated competency in a wide variety of technology and business contexts, and are the organization s most versatile, deployable resources. Also includes direct support of on-air/critical systems as requested by the client. Performs hardware/equipment/peripherals repair and maintenance for desktop PCs, broadcast servers, telecommunications equipment, newsroom and automation systems, data and LAN infrastructure, and TV broadcasting systems. Frequently works as lead on large projects in planning, execution and documentation phases. Shift work on a rotating schedule will be required across all shifts, major events and projects.
2 or 4 year electrical/electronic/IT related degree (or equivalent experience and qualifications)
SBE/MSCE/CCNA certifications preferred
6 or more years of applicable work experience or demonstrated equivalent competency
High performer in current technology position
Consistent contributor in current role with experience executing projects
SME on multiple core systems
Experience as Engineering lead on large projects
