Leidos, Inc. has an opportunity for an Unscheduled Professional in Abingdon, MD providing support to a wide variety of programs requiring environmental and technical support.
JOB SUMMARY:
Duties may include: supporting environmental documentation review/comments, regulatory negotiations, conduct environmental assessments, support installation environmental and facility environmental requirements.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide RCRA/CAA and other environmental support to chemical demilitarization operations
• Conducts studies and prepares environmental ipact reports for plant processes and permit changes
• Reviews and analyzes environmental documentation issued by regulatory agencies
• Develops compliance strategies and requirements to support government mission
• Provides evaluation of proposed regulations to determine financial, industrial, public and environmental impacts.Support environmental regulatory positions
• Conduct Environmental Assessments
• Create Technical Briefing
Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• This position typically requires a BS and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or a masters with 2+ years of prior relevant experience.
• The candidate should be or able to obtain HAZWOPER certification.
• Previous chemical demilitarization experience is necessary to support our customer.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Masters with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience. Secret Clearance
• EMS auditor certification
