Digital Content Specialist

Summary:

The Digital Content Specialist is responsible for ensuring the timely flow and delivery of digital content and metadata to various ecosystems in according with the project requirements and quality assurance guidelines. Other duties include: product data support, image retrieval, and image delivery.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collect content files and work with internal and external resources to create and update proper file formats.
• Track and report overall progress of projects.
• Serve as technical and/or production resource, as needed, to resolve issues and/or complete work in a timely matter.
• Populate trading partner templates for new item setups and all related trading partner documents.
• Perform integration testing to ensure that delivered solutions meet documented requirements and established quality assurance guidelines.
• Assist in product data stewardship internally by ensuring product data adheres to data procedures and defined standards.
• Maintain appropriate product images within internal content management system.
• Upload appropriate product images to trading partner portals, FTP sites, etc.

Education, Experience and Abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop
• Filemaker experience is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment
• Must be independent, detail-oriented, a problem solver, a self-starter, and a team player
• Working knowledge of various digital publishing platforms, including desktop apps, web, mobile web, ePub, and mobile apps.
