Position: Broadcast Maintenance Engineer

The Broadcast Maintenance Engineer provides technical support to WUNC in all office locations. This position helps maintain IT systems, works on IT projects, and helps resolve problem requests. Additionally, this position provides maintenance for WUNCâ??s studios, equipment, automation, AoIP and digital audio library systems. This position maintains the AoIP (Wheatstone) network and performs daily/monthly maintenance tasks to keep the facilities running smoothly with minimal interruption.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in electronics and three years of progressive experience in a broadcast television, radio and emerging media engineering environment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
