About the job
The Broadcast Technology Manager is responsible for daily support and maintenance of our Television Station Operations engineering web site and integrated broadcast systems. This role requires someone who understands and can work on both the front-end and back-end of an application, including troubleshooting and issue resolution. This position will lead a small team of support engineers focused on maintaining the engineering web site, core software applications at the technical hub in Clearwater, as well as broadcast specific devices deployed at our television stations across the country.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Administer and/or manage web developer with the engineering web site and related databases;
* Manage and/or Develop web pages and apps for the engineering web site;
* Testing and optimization of the site to maintain performance and user experience;
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner;
REQUIREMENTS
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Full Stack web development;
* Experienced in web application architecture;
* Proficient with Windows (Server and Desktop) operating systems;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Ability to write code that aligns with given requirements;
* Ability to document code functions, methods and classes;
* Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot code and related tools;
* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
