San Diego Opera is seeking a Production Intern to work with the stage management staff for our upcoming 2014 season. Position begins in early December 2013 and runs through mid-April 2014. Compensation includes hourly rate (plus overtime), housing, some travel assistance.
The production intern works directly with the Stage Management staff, performers, and crews. The daily routine is fast paced, but duties vary day to day. Flexibility and quick learning skills are a must. Ideally, the candidate has strong music reading skills and some stage management experience.
