Currently, we have an opening for a Production Artist to assist in the creation of advertisements and the layouts of our newspapers.
– Perform accurate and visually pleasing advertisements and layouts for all publications.
– Work with sales reps and clients to create visually pleasing advertisements for all sections.
– Deliver advertisements to sales reps within the allotted time.
– Meet weekly deadlines for submission to the Printer.
– Troubleshoot and/or track down missing ads by communicating with sales reps and management.
– College or Technical school degree preferred
– Ad design and page layout related experience or training.
– Ability to grasp and implement layout and IT concepts quickly and efficiently.
– Ability to meet deadlines, work in a fast paced environment, while being detail oriented.
– Strong knowledge of Adobe Indesign, Photoshop, Acrobat and Illustrator
– Proficient using a MAC
