Production Assistant

Understand the brand, and assist in bringing the network’s voice to life across all creative expressions.
Work on projects of all scopes and sizes: on-air promos, interstitials, photo shoots, marketing projects, sponsored vignettes, online, OOH, radio, and network sales presentations, etc.
Working as a production assistant / coordinator on photo and video shoots
Assist on a variety of assignments: logging footage for the best shots and bites, searching stock houses for footage and images then licensing, purchasing and tracking shots, organizing department paperwork and files, etc.
Organizing digitally with back up paperwork shoot footage in regards to releases, working with the editors to slate tapes/material with this information (name of talent, agent, contact info. etc.)
Participate in creative brainstorming sessions to generate highly creative, unexpected and breakout ideas and scripts
Additional duties as assigned as the department grows, expands and changes
Running Errands for the department if needed
Able to perform both technical and non-technical work in a production & post production environment to support the production and creative team
Handling dubbing requests, tape acquisitions and tape/material submissions thru the Media Center
Learning and having the ability to digitize material into an Avid – if the interest is there, obtaining
basic Avid editing skills thru classes
Assisting the Production Supervisor with footage acquisition and tracking from production companies for promos, begin aware and communicating any restrictions, etc.
Ingesting and uploading photos to XDAM with required specs and metadata information
Organizing and Updating various Project Management Software for different projects, print, on-air, digital, office, etc. including but not limited to Shoot Calendars, Vendor and Freelance Lists, etc.
Able to assist with administrative duties as needed
Experience as an intern or production assistant in On-Air Promo, Interstitial, Advertising, Digital Entertainment, Film, and/or at a broadcast or cable network.
Must have exceptional attention to detail and work ethic.
Must have the ability to identify the best shots/images/bites from a TV show, film, or shoot.
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and take creative direction.
Ability to clearly communicate with multiple supervisors.
Detail-oriented. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Have a clear understanding of our target audience (18-49 Males), and be able to assist on projects aimed at this demographic.
Available to work nights/weekends as needed.
