We are a global technology leader offering portable “live” electronic news gathering (ENG) broadcast solutions. Since 2005, we have become a trusted technology partner for hundreds of the leading broadcasters around the globe because of our ability to deliver a wide ecosystem of solutions for transmitting professional-quality High Definition video. This IP-based mobile equipment allows professional broadcasters to transmit a live HDTV signal over 4G/3G cellular networks, Wi-Fi and Ethernet connection. We are seeking a talented Support Engineer to work in our Raleigh-Durham area Support Center.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to broadcasters via phone, email and other electronic medium
  • Configure client’s equipment to connect to the Internet via cellular modems, Wi-Fi and Ethernet
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware issues as needed
  • Provide customer training on equipment use and best practices
  • Provide remote assistance to the Sales Team upon request

Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with PCs, servers, and networking equipment (routers, firewalls, etc.) is a must; applicant must be familiar with IP configuration, firewalls, NATs, and VPNs.
  • One year’s experience in Technical Support for a high-tech product, ideally in networking.
  • Linux and Windows proficiency is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Outgoing, enthusiastic personality who brings a sense of fun to work
  • Customer-centric attitude
  • Highly motivated, with the ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Fast learner who’s not afraid to try new things
  • Open-minded, flexible, and analytical problem-solver
  • Video hobbyist experience, or experience in the TV industry is a plus
